Jessica Wilson

Jessica Wilson is a lifelong learner and educator who is passionate about helping young people discover a love of learning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Music and Pedagogy from BYU–Idaho and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
She believes that education is about far more than mastering content — it is about cultivating curiosity, character, and purpose.
My Approach as a Guide
I love asking thoughtful questions, creating rich learning experiences, and helping students develop confidence, ownership, and a lifelong desire to learn. My role is not to hand over answers, but to hold the standard, ask the next question, and let middle schoolers do the hard and rewarding work of finding their own way through it.
Middle school is the age where a learner starts deciding who they are going to be. I want every student in my studio to leave it more curious than they arrived, more honest about their own effort, and more certain that they are capable of difficult things.
Beyond Aim
Outside the studio I enjoy reading, hiking with my family, studying history and literature, and finding everyday opportunities for adventure and discovery.
